Cost & Aid
Mercyhurst West is committed to keeping the cost of an education as low as possible and making that education accessible to every individual accepted at the college. In this spirit, West provides need-based scholarships to students in addition to any federal or state monies for which the student is eligible.
- Students who enroll at least half-time (two courses per term) may be eligible for state or federal grants or loans, and full-time students may also be eligible for Mercyhurst College grants.
- Local high school graduates who enroll at West full-time in the fall automatically receive a $1,000 scholarship.
- Mercyhurst West graduates wishing to continue their education at the Mercyhurst Erie campus may qualify for up to $10,000 in merit scholarships.
- Any independent student working for a business that is a member of the Girard-Lake City Chamber of Commerce is eligible to receive 25 percent off tuition. (Roughly $100 per credit).
Tuition and Fees for 2011-2012
Tuition will be billed for credit hours taken at the rate of $1,394 for a 3 credit course, or $465 per credit hour. Actual courses taken per term may vary based on student scheduling practices. Below is a list of the different academic programs and their estimated tuition and fees. These costs are based on full-time enrollment and no transfer credits.
