The Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration offers a sequence of courses that prepare students for entry-level positions in organizations with career paths that may eventually lead to supervisory and managerial positions. The course of study for this degree program includes a balance between courses related to career areas and the liberal arts and sciences. Students are introduced to the fundamentals of economics, accounting, management and marketing, as well as upper-level course work in human resources and computer applications. An optional internship provides hands-on experience. Upon completion of this program, graduates will be prepared for entry-level positions in administration, marketing, manufacturing and sales.
